ACIDS AND THEIR SALTS
About the game
Acids and their Salts is a chemistry game that helps students to increase familiarity of Acids
and their derivative Salts. Players will learn the names of the main acids, formulae, acid
residues, derivative salts and their names.
Gameplay
Each player is dealt 5 cards. In their turn the player can place one card anywhere he wants
on the board, replacing it with a new card from the draw pile. The task of the game is to score
as many points as possible through correct recognition of scoring combinations of cards. There
could be several different combinations of 4 or 5 acid cards. For each card of completed
combination the player scores one point. To keep game flowing, each player is limited to 1
minute of ‘thinking time’. In addition, there are 3 different bonuses that allow players to do some
extra things, such as, placing two cards instead of one etc. The player who receives the most
